My name is Renee Wilson, and I offer harp lessons on the South Side of Chicago, in the Morgan Park neighborhood. Instruction takes place weekly in my home, with appointments available Monday - Friday. Students who own their own instruments play on my pedal or lever harp, and do not need to bring their instruments.

If you do not already have a harp, I suggest that you start with one of my lap harps pictured in the above left photo. They are
Harpsicle Harps, and they are lightweight and easy to love! They are available for students to borrow on a long term basis while they are taking lessons. Please call or write for specific information if you are interested in this option. Students that begin on the lap harp are easily able to transition to a larger instrument when and if they choose. My goal is to give students the flexibility to decide if the harp is a good fit for them before they have to commit to the purchase of an instrument. Hopefully, having experience playing a lap harp will also lead to an easier decision of what type of harp to buy.

Currently, 30 minute lessons are $40, and I offer a free consultation. If you would like to see my home studio or discuss lesson options, please feel free to reach out directly.
